How you can become a The Union Bank VISA® or MasterCard® merchant:
- Merchant requests application from any Personal Banker at any The Union Bank branch; an application may be completed outside of the bank and returned.
- Completed application with credit report is sent for approval, which should be completed within one week.
- Electronic equipment may be purchased through our processor at The Union Bank's cost; equipment is programmed by a processor and mailed directly to the customer.
- A merchant must complete all of these steps before he may accept credit cards of any type. Additional cards may be accepted once the business is approved through Visa or MasterCard; application to accept other types of credit cards may be made through our processor.
