The individuals involved in these criminal activities will play on your fears of having "a cancelled card id you don't reactivate" and other similar type threats.

How do you know what's real or not?

Union Bank, the FDIC, Federal Reserve or any other banking regulatory agency will NEVER request your confidential or personal information through email, text messages, or phone recordings.
